nTune:Violin Free App Reviews

Great app! Highly recommended.

Good sound, nice long bows continue as long as I need, intuitively designed. Very useful!

AMAZING!

Ive downloaded like 3 violin tuning apps and this is the best one. From someone who just got a violin three days ago without any experience whatsoever and has started playing yesterday, I just tuned my violin with this app! Thanks! :D

Violin Tuner

There is nothing special about this app. Its not terrible. At least it helped me tune my violin.

I Shouldve Read the Description More Carefully!

I dont know anything about the violin and thought this would teach you how to play it.

Good tuner!!

I downloaded this because I recently bought a new set of strings and wanted to get them in tune once putting them on. Works great! The quality of the strings played on the app is really nice :)

Its okay

I like the concept of being able to tune my violin with an app even though I can tune perfectly by ear, but I dont how the A and the E string sound flat, if this is fixed I would definitely buy the app.

Best So Far

This was the fourth app in the list of tuners for me and its the best Ive seen. Tap a string to hear a pretty realistic violin bow playing the open strings. It plays the note for a measure - repeatedly - so you can bow your violin and hear open G over and over. As long as someone can verify that these notes are correct I dont see how an app could do better other than interactively hearing you play the note which would be insanely great. Btw - someone gave this 1 star because they thought this was a violin tutor app - thats just lame.

This is just a tone generator, I wouldnt call it a tuner

Tuner should be able to listen to the tune and tell you if its too high or low

Arco NOT acro

Correct spelling is arco, which is Italian for with the bow. App needs a tuning meter to ensure a correct match for inexperienced students.

This is bad!!!

They should lisaon to your music there would be no stares if thad let me!

Works, but A and especially E sound flat

I just used the cello app for a friend and downloaded this one. Not the best for beginners because it doesnt listen to and match your instruments tone to the selected note, but for everyone else, very convenient. Downloaded and listened to the violin app. Helpful as a starting point but the E and A strings sound flat. Just slightly, so fine for beginners. Really hope the program developers can swing by their local music school/store (or school with a music teacher/program) and get decent sounding A and E notes.

Pitch not right!

The new version can play sound even in mute mode, however the pitch is too high which seems that it is not produced by violin. Fix this now!

Flawed upgrade

The most recent upgrade changed the pitch so it is unusable for open string tuning. Please correct soon!

New version no longer sounds like violin

The new version pitch is horrible. No longer sounding like a violin. Fix it or go back to old version. Who cares about mute.

Ehhhhhh...

Like the app... I have it on the iPad, but it sounds a half-step too high

Violin free

Pretty good but.... I dont like it that there are only four strings.

Lol

To the guy who said you dont like how it has 4 strings...THERE R ONLY 4 STRINGS

OMG

Just started learning. This sucker makes things so much easier. *strikes awesome mercury pose*

Re:lol
